Dr. Chartrand & Harmony Family Health
We believe in your body's natural ability to create and sustain health. Harmony Family Health was conceived with a vision of integrated care. By combining the best of Western and Eastern philosophies we seek to support your body's natural state of health and well-being. At Harmony Family Health, we use the evidence-based science of the Western tradition along with the holistic and energy-based practices of the Eastern philosophy to provide you and your family with comprehensive primary care.
Through this combination of holistic therapies and energy work, as well as conventional testing and medicine when appropriate, we treat you as a whole person, rather than as a set of separate disease entities. We seek to support you with care that complements your values and life goals. At Harmony Family Health we believe that you play an active role in your health and we seek to support you with the best integration of information and therapies available.

At Harmony Family Health, we believe that the decision to vaccinate children and infants is a personal choice. We seek to provide information and advice to support the informed decision of responsible parents. We seek to support your autonomy and provide care for your children with respect for your values and life goals. We also offer vaccine counseling for parents who wish to vaccinate using an alternative vaccine schedule.
In recent years a new specialty has developed, "the Hospitalist." A hospitalist is a physician that does not have an office and therefore sees all of their patients in a hospital room. They are uniquely trained to handle the specialized medicine and coordination of care for "in-patients." If it is determined that you would benefit from in-patient hospital care, your medical care would be assumed by a hospitalist.
Typically you would be admitted through an Emergency Room, but Dr. Chartrand will stay updated on your medical condition. After you are discharged, Dr. Chartrand will resume your care and will receive your medical records from the hospital.
